Welcome to Kintyre Foodbank
We are group of 31 volunteers who are committed to helping those in our community who are facing food poverty. Our 'shopping' team make sure that our shelves, fridges and freezers are well stocked with everything we need to make up our parcels. We are also greatly supported by our local Tesco and Co-op stores with donations of surplus fresh produce like bread, vegetables and fruit. Fareshare, one of the UK's charitable food redistributors is very supportive by supplying good quality surplus food.
We work closely with health and social care providers in the area ensuring that the food parcels are reaching those that need it most.

If you wish to make a donation to Kintyre Foodbank, there are collection baskets located in Campbeltown Co-op & Tesco stores.
The items listed above are foods which we distribute to our clients along with frozen and fresh produce

Kintyre foodbank was honoured to meet HRH King Charles at a recent event in Campbeltown Town Hall.
He was very interested in the work that we do and showed a good knowledge of what is involved in the day to day running of the Foodbank.
He encouraged us to continue to recruit volunteers and to keep up our good work.

We were very lucky to have been given a very large donation of brand new baby items and clothes.
We took the opportunity to set up a stall and sell them at the local Agricultural Show.
It was a huge success - we raised our awareness within the community, had great fun and made lots of money too!

Recently, we were fortunate enough to have been awarded funding by Postcode X Trust and raised by players of People's Postcode Lottery.
Thanks to the players of People's Postcode Lottery, we will be able to continue to help those who are experiencing food poverty in our local community.
We are also supported by grants from Campbeltown Commu
